Why Tedy?

Well, I'm going to be totally honest here.... I must admit that Tedy initially caught my eye because of his extraordinary looks.  (I know, shallow of me... but I'm telling it like it is.)  There I was, at The Fox gawking through my binoculars at the Pats' sideline during down times when I first spotted #54.  Can you say...Adonis on the bench?  I'd scope  him out on Special Teams and situational play and I began to notice that he was a Kamikaze on the field!  I like that style and so I  watched for him to make his contribution in each game.  His role began to increase and he rarely disappointed me!  I grew used to hearing "Tedy Bruschi on the tackle..."  Even my husband began to notice and would say, "Your boy did it again!"

When I got my first Bruschi jersey and started wearing it to the games, I was amazed at how many people would ask  "Who's that?"  I was like.... "What?  How can you NOT know who he is?  Haven't you noticed this guy play?  He doesn't quit!" As his playing time increased and people started to recognize what type of player he was I found that I was no longer the lone royal blue #54 sitting amidst a sea of #11s and #24s.

I continued to follow his career and got to experience for myself why he has a reputation for being such a class act. To my great fortune, I got the opportunity to meet him and take this picture at training camp. This is the one that started it all off!  We took the photo in the morning, then I called him over to sign it in the afternoon and..... a couple of years and quite a few pictures later here we are...  I'm putting up my own website in his honor!

To me, he's the epitome of a Pats Fan but most especially a dear friend.  Once again, Thanks Tedy,  for bringing us together...  Had it not been for our shared passion for #54, I never would have surfed into his world and been so blessed.
